Q: Do Gulf Water Sports products come with a warranty?

A: Yes, our products come with a warranty. The duration of the warranty varies for each item. Hard plastic kayaks have a 5-year warranty, inflatable kayaks have a 2-year warranty, inflatable SUPs have a 3-year warranty, canvas bell tents have a 12-month warranty, and accessories have a 12-month warranty.

Q: How do I make a warranty claim?

A: If you believe that your product is defective within the terms of the Gulf Water Sports warranty, and you are the original purchaser, please send a detailed description and accompanying photographs/videos where appropriate through to support.baysports.com.au. Once we have received your claim, we will be in touch within 2-3 business days with an outcome to your warranty request.

Q: Is my Gulf Water Sports gear still covered by warranty if I purchased it second-hand?

A: No, unfortunately, our warranty is only provided to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Q: Are my kayak fixtures and fittings covered by warranty?

A: Bolts, screws, and any attachments secured with them are the customer's responsibility to maintain after purchase. These fittings should be checked regularly as part of an equipment care and maintenance regimen.

Q: Are my canvas bell tent zips and poles covered under warranty?

A: The warranty does not cover zips and poles after the tent has been pitched for the first time. Please check that the zips are functioning correctly prior to your first pitch.

Q: How do I pick up my order?
